IR emitters are generally used for coating drying in paper machines. GoGaS uses metal fibre or porous emitters or a combination of both emitter types for this application, depending on the required output and the available space. Both emitters achieve homogeneous line drying with maximum efficiency and are characterised by their robustness. Due to the significantly higher emitter output of the porous emitter, it is easy to increase the drying capacity even where space is limited.
