Gas underfloor burners guarantee complete defrosting of the wagon. They heat the underside of the wagon and also reach covered areas thanks to the convection heat of the exhaust gases. A sophisticated design ensures that falling snow/ice masses do not impair the function and that no open flames penetrate to the outside.
In wagon defrosting systems with hot air, the gas underfloor burners are replaced by hot air ducts.
