Michels Baumaschinen und Fahrzeugbau is one of the full-liners in the construction machinery market when it comes to earthmoving and material handling. The highly efficient heating of the production hall from 1980 was no problem for GoGaS. Large doors up to the eaves had previously allowed the warm air from the warm air heaters installed next to the eight doors to escape unhindered.
For decades, the constant entry of cold air into the work area led to dissatisfaction among the workforce and very high heating costs. On the other hand, extreme heat pockets formed in the hall, which easily reached temperatures of 25 °C in higher working areas. The 100 x 22 meter hall is used 10 hours a day, 6 days a week.
In close cooperation with Michels, we developed an innovative system concept. Eight DSU 40/2 gas infrared dark radiators are now in use. The highlight is the combination with the patented TRIGOMAX®! The hot exhaust gases from the dark radiators are cooled with room air via the heat exchanger and the heat is released into the room air as heat using the counterflow principle with fan support. Depending on the utilization of the system, the exhaust gas temperature of the TRIGOMAX® system is between 35 and 44 °C. With the GoGaS Infra-Control software integrated into the existing company network, the system can be controlled from authorized PCs. Overtime? No problem. Outside normal working hours, employees can switch on the heating to the daytime temperature for one hour at a time using a simple working time button.
